I'm still playing around with forest paths and contrasting light. This time I wanted to be able to see a little more foreground and have less of a silhouette look than my other recent forest path images.
Rendered in Vue10. Some light work, the fireflies and the ground mist done in photoshop. Woodland Light gels by Barry Marshall. Incredibly Lush Garden Bushes by Linda Daireaux.
Thanks for looking!

The lighting work is very interesting, I love rays of light, it really gives power to the picture, and mist looks really cool. The round-fairy-light-thing gives an unrealistic touch I think, but that's very personnal. Looking cool
The butterfly is a good idea, gives life to the scenery
I miss a human figure in here but again, it's very personnal.
Some things are a little bit weird, but that's really details :
Trunks looks very "straight", we really see the cylinders between the trees, which kinda break the illusion of natural scenery. But if you did this with Vue, I guess you didn't modelised your trees yourself and that's totally understandable
Second thing, the limit between the grass and the path is very clean, which looks very human-made. I don't know if you wanted that feeling
That's it
PS : my english may be clumsy, but it's not my mother tongue so... sorry if I wrote weird things
