Virtual Universe Editor 3000 by papamook Virtual Universe Editor 3000 by papamook
Last week e-on asked on their facebook page: "if VUE was an acronym for something what would it be?" - my answer was 'Virtual Universe Editor'.

Then yesterday while making another scifi scene, one with someone looking out of a spaceship's window at planets, I had a little idea to turn it into a virtual universe editor and have the person moving whole planets around using arm gestures. These worlds would be full of incredible realism and populated by creatures with such intricate AI that they would believe they lived in a real universe.

Hope you like it!

I like it, 'Virtual Universe Editor.' I like the idea of being able to design entire solar systems and ecologies.

Wow, this is such a beautifully composed and constructed piece. The lighting is fantasic and I love how you added the astroid belt around the planet in the background. It looks as though figure in the picture feels as though they are on top of the world. I would be too if I were there! Just Wow :wow:

thank you cj! The asteroid belt is a cheeky rock eco on a transparent squished torus, something I will be using again! :)
